Consistent service, reliable sending

I've used iContact for my email campaigns for a few years now. This latest renewal for the annual plan was just as smooth as always. The Marketing Analytics and Reporting tools continue to be solid, giving me what I need without any fuss. I appreciate that they haven't changed things up too much; it just works. Deliverability is still strong too, which is the main reason I stick with them.

Good value with annual discount

This was my first time trying iContact. I was looking for a platform that wouldn't break the bank, so the 20% off for the annual plan really caught my eye. Setting up the Drag and Drop Email Editor was pretty straightforward, and I got my first campaign out faster than I expected. The features are robust enough for what I need, and paying yearly made a big difference in the overall cost. Felt like I got good bang for my buck.

Easy to use, nice templates

So I needed to send out some emails for my side project, and a friend told me to check out iContact. I'm not super techy, but the Responsive Email Templates made it pretty simple to get something looking decent. I just picked one, changed the text, and it was good to go. Sending it out was easy enough too. The whole process felt pretty chill, no major headaches. It got the job done without me pulling my hair out.

What's the deal with payment options for iContact? Do they take PayPal or is it just credit cards?

K Kevin Marsh 3 weeks ago
Pretty sure it's just credit cards, but you can usually connect a credit card to PayPal anyway.

They take major credit cards. Don't remember seeing PayPal as a direct option when I signed up.

If I sign up for a monthly plan, can I cancel it anytime without a penalty? Or am I locked in for a certain period?

R Renee Reyes 1 month ago
You can cancel monthly plans anytime, no problem. I did it once when I paused my business.

Yeah, no long-term contracts for month-to-month. Just cancel before your next billing cycle.

Thinking of pre-paying for a year to get a better rate. Is that actually worth it, like how much do you save?

B Beth 1 month ago
Totally worth it if you plan to stick around. I saved like 20% on my annual plan compared to paying monthly.

Big savings. It's usually 15-20% off if you pay for the whole year upfront.

Hey guys, thinking of switching to iContact. Is it pretty easy to use for someone who's not super techy? I've mostly just used basic email stuff.

S Steve 1 month ago
Yeah, it's pretty straightforward. The drag and drop editor is nice for building emails without coding.

I found it pretty beginner-friendly. They have a bunch of templates too so you're not starting from scratch which helps a lot.

Is it true you can get a discount if your organization is a non-profit? Trying to save some money for our charity.

C Cody 1 month ago
Yup, definitely! They have a non-profit discount, I think it's 15% off. You usually just need to verify your status.

My friend got that discount for their non-profit. It's a permanent thing, not just a one-time deal.

Does anyone know if iContact does a Black Friday sale? Or should I just jump on their free trial now?

C Colin 1 month ago
They usually have some kind of deal around that time, I remember seeing one last year. Might be worth waiting if you're not in a super rush.

I think they do Black Friday and Cyber Monday for sure. If you're just trying it out, the trial is good though.

How does iContact stack up against Mailchimp? I've been with Mailchimp for a while but thinking of a change.

N Nina 1 month ago
I moved from Mailchimp to iContact and honestly, I like the support better. Features are pretty similar for what I need.

Mailchimp's free tier is nice if you're super small, but for growth, iContact felt a bit more robust for my business. Just my two cents.
